BLM Wilderness / Bolt Plan
The BLM is intending to revise its management plan for Red Rock. The revised Wilderness Management Plan and its related Climbing Management Plan will be important to all climbers who come to Red Rock. The crucial element will be new bolting regulations.

6-14-2007 LVCLC Comments Submitted
The LVCLC has submitted comments on BLM's Preliminary Proposed Action for the La Madre Mountain and Rainbow Mountain Wilderness Areas. Briefly, it was our opinion that the general thrust of the BLM plan would be a reasonable solution for the local climbing community. There were, however, a number of areas we sought to clarify or adjust. The complete text of our comments can be found here.
